Dana Frank, DVM

Dr. Dana Frank grew up in Los Angeles, California but always wished she was in the country. Always knowing she wanted to be a veterinarian, Dr. Frank started walking dogs as a kid and then got her first veterinary assistant job at age 14. She attended U.C. Davis and received a Bachelors of Science in international agriculture development. In 1996, she graduated as a doctor of veterinary medicine from Colorado State University. Dr. Frank believes in the benefits of preventative care such as regular examinations, vaccinations, dental care, exercise and obesity prevention. She is proud to be practicing high quality veterinary medicine, keeping up with the highest standards of care, and she enjoys all aspects of internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Frank enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, hiking, gardening, weight training, and reading. She is a Diamondbacks fan and enjoys going to the ball park.


Sandra Rogers, DVM

Dr. Rogers was born in Bisbee, Arizona. While in eighth grade, the death of her cat influenced her decision to become a veterinarian. She attended Northern Arizona University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Zoology. After NAU she attended Colorado State University graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She has a love for working on eyes and the surrounding tissue. Her favorite activities are photography, attending the high school football games and creating videos at work. She also enjoys reading and creating stained glass. The two stained glass windows located in the hospital waiting area are a few of her masterpieces. “I’ve really enjoyed working here. Sometimes famous pets come in too. I’ve seen ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Elvis.’ I even had the honor of neutering ‘George W. Bush!’”


Dawn Hunsberger, VMD

Dr. Hunsberger grew up in the mid-Atlantic United States where she went to undergrad in Pennsylvania, followed by graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She practiced small animal medicine and surgery in southeastern Pennsylvania after graduation and moved to the Verde Valley in 2006. Her interests are in general small animal medicine and surgery, basic nutrition, puppy training, and dentistry. In 2014 she received her CCRP (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner) certification for physical rehabilitation from the University of Tennessee. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and their 3 dogs, 3 cats and 1 horse.


Julianne Hoult, DVM

Dr. Hoult is an Arizona native and feels very fortunate to have grown up in beautiful Prescott, AZ with a menagerie of dogs, cats, horses and exotic pets. Her interest in veterinary medicine developed at a young age, inspired by the desire to help animals in need and a passion for science. She studied animal science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA before receiving her doctorate of veterinary medicine with honors from the University of California, Davis in 2016. While in school, she spent her spare time working as a veterinary technician, volunteering at animal shelters and caring for the pets of the homeless. Dr. Hoult has tremendous admiration and respect for the human animal bond and her goal is to work closely with pet owners to provide the highest level of personalized care to each and every pet. Some of her special interests include emergency medicine, cancer treatment, surgery and dentistry. After many years in CA, Julianne and her husband Kelsey could not be happier to be back home in the tri-cities. When they aren’t busy working, they enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, mountain biking and exploring the great outdoors.


Megan Munis, DVM

Since entering veterinary medicine, Dr. Munis has been involved in rural large animal practice and small animal general and emergency practice. Her special interests include oncology, critical care, surgery, and backyard farm animals. She has a passion for education, and, in addition to her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University, she holds a Master of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.

She shares her passion with the public as well; she has delivered lectures at local events, written articles for pet health newsletters, and created educational literature for pet owners.

When she’s not treating animals, she enjoys mountain biking, crossfit, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and twin sons.


Abigail Sullivan, DVM, CCRT

Veterinary medicine has always played a major role in Dr. Abby’s life; she grew up in a small town in west Texas, where she began volunteering at the local vet clinic when she was only 11 years old. There, she fell in love with the profession dedicated to helping animals. After college, she was drawn to beautiful Colorado to obtain her veterinary degree through Colorado State University. She also became certified in canine rehabilitation through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. After graduating from vet school, she worked for a year doing only canine rehabilitation before moving into a small animal general practice. When not at work, she enjoys gardening, reading, and exploring the great outdoors with her dogs and husband, who is a professor at Embry Riddle.

Leita

Leita grew up in San Diego and moved to the tri-city area in March 2008. She loves animals and people that is why she chose this field. She joined the PVPC team January 2013 and loves everyone she works with. When she is not at work she loves to do anything outdoors with her husband, her two kids and her Golden Retriever; including hiking, camping, kayaking and any kind of traveling.


Rhonda

Rhonda grew up in Atlanta and Colorado. She moved to Phoenix in 1991 with her husband and four boys. Rhonda came to us this past May from Glendale where she worked as a front office manager for a dental office. When she is not working she enjoys watching Nascar and football. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.


Corina

Corina was born in Louisiana, and moved to the Prescott area in 2010. She shares her life with her two children, her brother Timmy, and her two dogs.She grew up with a love of animals and the outdoors. Corina has always taken an interest in applied science and learning random trivia. True to her southern belle roots, she loves to talk and make people feel welcome. In her spare time, she loves to invest her creativity in writing, crafting, and singing. She feels very privileged to be a part of our team at Prescott Valley Pet Clinic.

Technicians And Assistants

Genna, Technical Team Lead

Genna moved to Prescott Valley from Pittsburgh, PA in December 2013. In 2005 Genna graduated from the median school of Allied Health Careers and has been a Veterinary Technician ever since. She chose this field because she enjoys providing the best care available for pets including critical care, blood transfusions and surgery. Outside of work Genna enjoys watching hockey, backpacking, hiking, hanging out with her friends and furry family consisting of her two dogs, two cats, her horse and chickens.


Lanelle, Veterinary Nurse

Lanelle has had the opportunity to travel all over the world with her family when her dad was in the military. Now she loves horseback riding and hiking with her three children and five cattle dogs. She decided when she was 9 years old she wanted to work with animals. Her cat got very sick and passed away. At that point she decided she wanted to help save animals. In addition to her dogs she has two cats and a blue and gold macaw named Razzle.


Jill, Veterinary Nurse

Jill has worked with animals in some way or another since she was 18. It is rare for people to love what they do and she is lucky enough to be able to say she truly loves her job and the people she works with. Originally from southern California, she moved to Arizona when she was 19. She has three pets, two dogs and a snake. In her free time she likes to do anything outdoors.


Chasity, Veterinary Nurse

Chasity was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and moved to Prescott Valley in 2004. Chasity joined Prescott Valley Pet Clinic in May 2014, and ever since she has been in love working in the veterinary field. Not only has she always had a love and passion for animals, but being there for the pets and giving them the best care possible is very rewarding and is an awesome feeling! In Chasity’s free time, she loves spending time with her husband and her yellow lab, Sadie. Her main hobbies are photography, hiking, and camping.


Sami, Veterinary Nurse

Sami was born in California but was raised as a desert rat. She’s always been surrounded by animals and takes special interest in reptiles. Growing up she always wanted to be a dentist until she worked as a receptionist at a veterinarian clinic. After that she knew she couldn’t do anything else. When she’s not at work Sami likes spending time outdoors and playing with Kiki her Siamese snowshoe and her two bearded dragons Reptar and Mushu.


Ryan, Veterinary Nurse

Ryan was born in California but moved to Prescott in 2006 to be closer to family. He has always had a strong passion for working with animals and was an animal behaviorist until he explored the veterinary field. In his free time he likes to go hiking and camping. He also enjoys spending time with his 4 dogs Khalisi, Kayla, Raider, and Princess.


Jena, Veterinary Nurse

Jena was born in Arizona, and grew up on a family ranch. She spends a lot of time outdoors, camping and wheeling. She has a pig named Hamlet.


Katie, Veterinary Nurse

Katie comes to Prescott Valley Pet Clinic with a background in working in large animal practice and small animal dental care. She enjoys giving TLC to the patients she works with. When she’s not at work she loves to spend time with her 4 dogs, riding her horses, and competing in barrel racing.


Veronika, Certified Veterinary Technician

Veronika has a BA in Linguistics and an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology from the University of New Mexico. Since moving to Arizona, she has become certified in small animal CPR-BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR – ALS (Advanced Life Support). She has now started working towards getting her small animal Emergency and Critical Care certification. She loves all animals, and takes an acute interest in exotics.

Management Team

Rick Frank, Practice Owner

Rick was born and raised in Rochester, PA. At 21 years old Rick moved to Phoenix and took a job with Marriott In-flite. While working there he worked his way up to management. After 11 years with Marriott he moved here to Prescott where he met his beautiful wife Dana Frank. They got married in 2002 and in 2003 they purchased Prescott Valley Pet Clinic. They share 3 precious little boys.


Tina, Inventory and Safety Manager

Tina started in this field as a Veterinary Technician in 1994. Naturally, she chose this career because of her love of animals. She has a special way with both animals and people that makes the veterinary field the perfect career path for her. She joined our team at PVPC in January 2004, continuing as a Veterinary Technician until becoming our Inventory and Safety Manager in December 2014.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys camping and spending time with her two grandsons, Hunter and Bowen. Her love of animals is reflected in her 6-acre menagerie of two German Short Haired Pointers named Rocky and Junie, two cats, Remington and Kitten, her turkey, recent Thanksgiving survivor dubbed Turkey Bird, and her flock of beloved Silkie and Ameraucana chickens.
